Introductions of yourself

I can understand and support most of the rules. The one about not posting to promote ones profile, I can see the purpose of. However, might be good to allow and indeed encourage introductions to oneself, and indeed have a stream called INTRODUCTIONS OF YOURSELF. Some might argue not needed, as people can introduce themselves in their profile. True, they can, but this would be a place were new users in particularly could introduce themselves, using forums, which some, indeed, likely many, will not be used to. Also, clear place to go to if you want to see which of the members of the group have gone the further step to introduce themselves.
