An ethical vegetarian for 48 years. Transplanted from Boston back in Ohio and farming organically (grains and beans). Decidedly an outdoor person - very active.I'm interpreted as having some disparities; i.e. generally in jeans with dirt on my knees, yet dress up quite well and at a fine dinner party people seem to find me amusingly sophisticated. Go figure. Very involved in the sustainable agricultural efforts, conservation, prairie restoration, etc. Love the life of the mind but never sacrifice my penchant for titaliting the senses. Regularily seek out art, theatre, good films, fine coffee and delightful dining. Considered a good cook and always serve wine.
Live on a farm and sad creatures find you (else they are dumped off by careless people. Much to large a part of my budget and plays havoc with my time. Yet adore them all, including the bee hives and my nemisis the woodchuck digging up my barn.
A man with his own interests and passions entices me. One intent on the natural world sends me swooning. Planting a grove of trees then rolling around on the ground is my fantasy. Kindness now and at the end of life seems all that will matter. Respectful (vs tolerence) represents real genuity and confidence in my experience.
Active and trim is important - I am and value those who take all aspects seriously.
