I became a vegan in November of 2010 and would like to meet someone like-minded. Meat and medicine did a number on me and I plan to be vegan the rest of my life. For now I would consider myself "curvy" but that is changing quickly.

I am happy, sweet, smart and a little bit of an activist. I am against animal cruelty and factory farming. I love music and have an eclectic taste. I am very accepting of others and am open-minded. I have been separated for about 8 years now and have stayed married for the insurance benefits but he knows he has no claim to me. I am constantly trying to improve myself so I can feel and be my best, break bad habits and make the right choices for me and those I come in contact with. I am especially interested in science. I will be glad to discuss differences respectfully but prefer not to argue.

I have two wonderful teenagers and really enjoy hanging-out with them and having fun. We are a very close family.

I'm picky about my men and I am a good mate when I choose to be one. I need a man who is just right for me. I won't settle. I am, however, able to appreciate the gifts in others. Have you ever been truly valued just for being who you are? I am trustworthy. You can feel totally comfortable telling me all of your secrets. I won't judge you. I will also be honest with you. I expect the same. Tell me who you really are...no pretense.

Be respectful and affectionate, willing to discuss all kinds of issues and sometimes indulgent. I like to be spoiled but can handle just being appreciated. I am very adaptable and think of new situations as only things I haven't tried yet. I am very curious and perhaps *nalytical.

Although I respect your right to believe whatever you'd like, I don't think that I would be a good mate for a religious person.
