I work alongside people with whom I have little in common and need to look further afield for a kindred spirit with similar (not necessarily the same) interests or beliefs.
I'm 52 but told I neither look nor act it, but I couldn't possibly comment.
I'm amicably divorced and have two sons and two daughters from 14-27 years old. They take up some of my time but I do have time to spare outside of work.
I play bass in a punk band to little or no acclaim but that's not why we do it.
I'm vegan and have been for 31 years I think now, but not in a holier than thou, hardcore way. The idea of relationships with omnivores doesn't really appeal as it's bound to cause friction somewhere along the line.
I'm interested in languages, camping, walking, running, meditation and buddhism although I'm a bit sporadic with the last three.
Life is for living and enjoying but some things are better savoured with interesting, intelligent company. I can be witty and amusing in the right company but perhaps don't stretch as far as charming!
