Just looking for like-minded friends or whatever happens from there. I am a moderate meat eater looking to take meat entirely out of my diet and the support and knowledge of those around me would be well appreciated. Recently I began a now 6 month long journey in weight loss that has pulled me from 256 lbs to currently 198, and in a continued interest for my health I think I'm ready to give up meat for good. I eat all veg and soy substitute for at least 3 days out of my weeks and have been spending the last 2-3 months as a "flexitarian" or veg leaning meat consumer.

As for my non diet self...I'm a snowboard/skate/biking enthusiast with a deep love for the nerdy side of life as well. Sci Fi, horror, especially B movies and cult flicks always catch my interest. I'm currently self studying Japanese and ASL as well, for what that's worth.
