Of course my profile title is inspired by words from George Bernard Shaw. I have reflected upon many things of the course of my life and one of the better things I did was finally about 25 years ago give up eating meat of any sort. It was a drift that was slow and deliberate, I wish it had been faster. Since I consider myself fairly intelligent I often wonder what took so long, perhaps it was all the distraction caused by all of the other social injustices when I was younger. I hope to find others on this forum that have the same view. I also realize that the human race is working very hard to destroy the planet as a place that is habitable for any form of life. And I as well as many others continue to do my part, but I do make every effort to avoid doing harmful things. I find it very offensive when I see many people wasting resources and cluttering up the environment with plastics and herbicides and insecticides. Hopefully we as the species that can think will start to do so.
