Simplicity in Love Living a simple natural life in rural France, the things I value most are love, compassion, honesty, nature, tranquility, friends and family. I'm not really into pubs or cinemas, though I don't mind the occasional visit, but enjoy live music, log fires, swimming in the sea, and walks in the woods gathering mushrooms for breakfast. A Ferrari has no wow factor for me, but seeing a meteorite plummeting towards the earth in an explosion of coloured light, or a fox standing calmly in front of me looking into my eyes, is a real treat.

I am deeply inspired by the Dalai Lama for his wisdom, compassion, humility and intelligence. His presence touches my soul. My dream partner would be someone who would love to learn and grow together, and have his soul touched in the process.

I am a very practical, adaptable person, though I confess I could never adapt to living in town. Towns are great to visit, but I need to breathe fresh air and hear birdsong when I wake up in the morning.

My ideal match would enjoy the simple things in life. He would be intelligent, compassionate, vegetarian, and love animals, nature and tranquility.

Ideally he would have an interest in eastern philosophy, and not be satisfied with a simplified explanation of everything being an illusion, or worse, a dream, but will have looked, or be interested in looking more deeply into the meaning of compassion and unity. It is very important to me that there is an interest in spiritual development, and an understanding of the importance of global compassion.

If he played a musical instrument that would be very attractive, especially if it was the sax, clarinet, flute, bass (slap that bass!), fiddle, guitar (acoustic), or tin whistle. Singing could just melt my heart, even if it is not really in tune!
I would like a relationship which is mutually supportive, open and honest. Where love and trust are valued above all else.
