How I see myself... Thoughtful, intellectually-curious, inspired by beauty (in all forms), and moved by kindness in others. Interests include a passion for art, theatre and European travel, being a life-long vegetarian (ovo-lacto; 30 years), movies, NPR, reading (mostly non-fiction), photography, architecture and dancing. I'm known to swoon for great chocolate, pizza and the perfect shade of red lipstick. Definitely have a Gemini mind, and a soft heart for shelter cats and children in need. I'm originally from Vermont, and my soul is nourished by getaways w/ peaceful mountain views, white birch trees and the sound of chicadees. That said, while I love walking outdoors & hiking in colder months, I will definitely be the first one to run screaming if I a see a spider, and I won't be joining anyone on camping trips (but I'll enjoy hearing about your adventures). I have had the chance to travel quite a bit in the U. S. during the past, as well as trips to London and Paris. Not traveling so much these days, but still a passion. Self-improvement is an ongoing quest, as well as lifelong learning. I think that both intellectual/emotional compatibility and physical attraction/chemistry are important elements in a relationship, and neither can be predicted in advance - and that's what makes dating an adventure. I'm attracted to a youthful attitude, someone with a kind heart who would have as much fun browsing flea markets or strolling through an art museum, and just having a good laugh or sharing long conversations on the human condition.
