I am a loving, hardworking and positive vegan woman looking for friendship, companionship and if I meet the right person, someone to share my life with.

My children inspire me every day and bring me immense joy. We enjoy spending time together playing board games, cooking, talking and just plain hanging out. Their father is a big part of our lives and we are committed to a positive, friendly family life despite being in two houses.

As well, my profession as a social worker in a front line non-profit agency is progressive, compassionate and rewarding.

Daily exercise keeps me grounded and healthy, whether it be distance running, yoga, hiking, walking, gardening or learning a new activity like golf or kayaking.

I have been a vegan for almost 2 years for ethical and health reasons. In the past I was a vegetarian for several years.

I am embracing life and trying new things that I have always wanted to do like ballroom dancing and motorcycling. I also love to sing in a community choir, read novels and non-fiction, watch movies, have intelligent conversations, cook and eat delicious vegan food, laugh, drink coffee/tea with friends, enjoy a real newspaper on a Saturday morning, birdwatch, walk on the beach, go to live theatre and listen to music.

I am a very spiritual person with a liberal Christian faith but I also believe that the Divine is a great mystery and none of us has all the answers to the big questions -- that is why it's called faith. Faith is very personal and not something to preach or push. My faith calls me to live a life of love and compassion.

While my life is very rewarding, I am interested in meeting new people who share similar interests and priorities. But I also want to have fun! Life is short... I live without regrets and present the daily intention to love my fellow creatures on Earth and am open to receive the love that is freely given to me.
