My interests and tastes lean toward the eclectic (or in some people's opinions, eccentric), i.e. anime junky, music fanatic, film buff, graphic artist with some life experiences that have left me more than open in my views both political and social.

I lived in New York City for 10 years and during that time I suppose I lived to excess, which can be liberating. Then again, it can also be limiting. I've let a few things pass me by during my time there, mostly some stability in my life. On first meeting some people consider me to be removed or aloof. I really don't see myself that way and once a person gets to know me they realize none of that to be true. In short, getting to know me isn't easy, but Friends have found it worth the trouble and you may too.

Of all the things I am interested in, music is my favorite and I have an extensive music library ranging from David Sylvian to The Chinese Opera. Favorites included Faith Evans, Francoise Hardy, Etienne Daho, Serge Gainsbourg, Cursive, Rilo Kiley, Peaches, David Bowie, Futureheads, Kaiser Chiefs, Kate Bush and Leonard Cohen, Shelby Lynne, Miles, Coltrane, Bird, Monk, Doc Cheatam and Dexter Gordon.

Teaching myself the electric guitar, and making minimal progress. Enjoy movies - both domestic and foreign. I am a vegan. As for television I watch WASHINGTON WEEK, REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHR revealing my liberal political leanings.
