Success at Passions?

Having noticed a lot of "former members," I can think of three reasons, one good, the others not-so-good.

Sometimes, the member violated terms of use and was deleted by administrators.

Sometimes, the member became discouraged by lack of results and gave up.

And the good reason:
Maybe the member found a partner by using the site, and no longer needs the service.

I just wonder how often that last one happens. The forums and chat see so little activity; but then, maybe the action is in other avenues. I know that I always answer emails and messages, except for once, when it was clear he just wanted me to be another notch on his bedpost. But when I initiate an email to someone else, I almost never get any response.

Does anyone know how often a Passions Network member succeeds in finding someone by using the site?

`wow: you wrote that question way back in 2009. And no answers. I guess the participation isnt that big here. I was hoping to meet women of the same interest here. I have sent out maybe 10 emails and 4 or 5 hugs and maybe 3 smooch's. No return messages. This is starting to look like all the other dating sites i have ever joined. Man this is frustrating. This is the first actual vegetarian site that I have been able to find and get registered in. I have been actively looking for someone special for about 3 years now. I have been single for about 12 years. The only women that ever respond back or initiate contact are the fake profiles of Nigerian men behind some very fine women s pictures. They are easy to pick out though. There grammar is all messed up and they usually come on hard with flattery and they immediately want to go to private email or texting or some other form of communication offsite. So I have had no luck in 3-4 years of searching from site to site and all over the world. Thats just my experience. Maybe others have had an easier and better time with it.
