Geekydoglover, 50

I am a 40 year old recently converted vegetarian. I love anything that allows me to be creative; I am currently sewing and wanting to learn crochet. I love op shops, collecting shells on the beach, playing board games with my 2 school age boys, taking photos when the inspiration hits, and playing Sims. I am a pop culture geek, I LOVE so many shows it's not funny... Supernatural, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Sherlock, Merlin, and especially Adventure Time. I collect Funko Pops, shot glasses, original My Little Ponies, and anything with dragons. The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favourite movies. I LOVE to read, but seldom have the time. JK Rowling is my role model. I loved all the Harry Potter books dearly. I also like reading anything by Koontz. I enjoy going to pop culture coventions and think cosplayers are awesome. I have tattoos and want more, and the stereotypes make me a bit sad. I think tattoos tell a story about the person they adorn. I am a recently converted vegetarian, on my way to being vegan.

I love all animals, and feel sad that it took me so long to wake up to the suffering of animals in the food industry. If money were not an issue, I'd buy land and build an animal sanctuary. I've always had an obsession with horses and want to have one eventually, but would love to spend the rest of my days with dogs, cats, cows, goats, donkeys, sheep, pigs, and anything else that needs a home and love.
