I love animals and prefer they not get chopped up If you've read Jonathan Safran Foer's Eating Animals, you have a good idea of why I abstain from eating animals. Though I'm not fundamentally against the food chain, the way we treat other living beings as mere products for a fleeting culinary pleasure is simply morally disgusting to me.
