Hi, I'm Kate, currently a librarian for an environmental agency. However, I'm studying geographic information systems (GIS) so I can switch gears and get involved in environmental work more directly.

While the city has its attractions, I'm a nature girl at heart and usually would rather be outdoors hiking, exploring or reading. I hope to leave the East Coast behind at some future date. I'm a pop science geek and tend to read about it, as well as history, philosophy, and historical fiction.

I also enjoy experimenting with new vegetarian recipes, listening to blues and folk music, drawing and travel. I enjoy all kinds of foods and cuisines, but my favorites are Thai, Indian and Italian.

Seeking an intelligent guy with a sense of humor, sense of wonder, and adventurous and curious spirit. someone with the ability to be equally serious or silly, and a love for the natural/non-human world could be a great fit.
